The minimum age valid for participation in the Tournament is 18 years old divided into two categories:
1 category: NO LIMITS AGE

The presence of female players is allowed.
The dimensions of the playing field are approximately 30m x 60m.
Duration of the matches: 2 times of 20 minutes to run (except for accidents or fights) if the goal difference is less than 2 goals the last 5 minutes of 2° period will be the actual playing time.
Each match will be preceded by 5 minutes of warm up and will have an interval between the two game times of 3 minutes.
The teams must show up on the pitch at the time indicated on the game board, in case a team does not show up at all or does not show up on time at the scheduled start time of the match, (waiting tolerance 10 minutes) the same is evaluated with the score of 0: 2 against the non-appearance team.

Each team must be composed of at least 10 outfield players + 1 goalkeeper (any exceptions can be assessed upon request to the organization)

Each match has a match director (referee) who is responsible for running the match plus an assistant. He watches over the game, counts the scoring and announces the result to the tournament organizer.

The matches will be refereed by a total of professional referees.
The minimum age valid for participation in the Tournament is 18 years of age

No misrepresentation of any type of information by a participating team or a team representative will be tolerated. The registration fee does not include health insurance coverage, each of the players would do well to provide their own insurance policy.
Real or perceived insults against referees, employees or volunteers of the Event, stadium management or employees and collaborators of IAVHL will not be tolerated. In the event that a participating Player or team official, participant, family member, spouse, guest or team member acts in an unprofessional manner, the individual and / or the entire team may be expelled from the Event or be subject to subsequent disciplinary measures.
The tournament is scheduled to last 4 days and with 2-half 20-minute matches but the organization reserves the right to decrease the number of days to 3 in case of lack of sufficient teams to carry out the tournament in 4 days and / or to reduce 2 times of 15 minutes in case of excessive number of participating teams.
PLAY RULES

In unforeseen and exceptional cases the organizing committee has the right to change or adapt the rules. These changes will be promptly communicated to the Teams before the dispute of the first match.
The tournament will take place in two groups of 8/10 teams each, each team will meet all the other teams on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. (the number of teams per group or category may vary according to the number of teams entered)
The shot of "Slap Shot" is prohibited! but, if the two captains agree they can use it but only if all the players are equipped with a protective grille or visor on the helmet, if slapshot allowed, the players without a visor will not be able to access the ice.
Direct charges are forbidden but blocking to the balustrade is allowed. The soft-touch rule applies.
Fighting, the decision of the penalty linked to the triggering causes remains at the discretion of the referee - however in principle a penalty ranging from 10 minutes to the match penalty must be assessed for each player identified by the referee as instigator or aggressor in a match. combat. In the final matches in the event of a tie at the end of the two game halves we will proceed with 5 minutes of Over Time, the game will end with the first goal - if at the end of the Over Time neither team has scored a goal we will proceed with penalty shots.The "Penalty Shot Procedure" to determine the winner of the match.
The shots will be taken in both defensive zones of the playing field.
The procedure will start with 5 (five) different shooters for each team taking turns in shooting. Players do not need to be named first. All the players listed in the Referee Sheet can participate in the Penalty Throws to determine the winner, with the exclusion of those indicated in the following article 3.
Any player who has not finished serving his penalty during the “Regular Time” will not be able to participate in the Penalty Shoot, and must therefore remain in the penalty box or may go to the dressing room. Players who receive a penalty during the penalty shootout phase must also remain in the penalty box or may go to the dressing room until the end of the procedure.
The Referee will call the two Captains in the Referees area and with the flip of the coin he will establish which team will start̀ first. The winner of the coin toss can choose whether to throw first or second.
Goalkeepers will defend the same goal defended during the playing time.
The goalkeepers of both teams can be changed after each shot.
The shots will be made in compliance with Art. 509 of the IIHF Official Game Regulations.
Players of both teams will take turns taking turns until the deciding goal has been scored. The match will be considered concluded with this decisive goal.
If after the 5 (five) throws the teams are still tied̀, it will proceed to the bitter end ”carried out by a player of both teams, with the same player or with new players. Identification of players, coaches and officials by the referees
The match officials, 5 (five) minutes before taking the field, must identify the players, coaches and managers, first of the host team and then of the guest team. EQUIPMENT
All participants must play with hockey skates (not figure skating, goalkeeper or speed skating). The protective visor or helmet grid of your choice is mandatory (mandatory grid for female players)
TEAM
If a team does not have the necessary number of players, this can, after notifying the organization, field one or more players from another team.
The Organizing Committee has the right to exclude a player from the tournament if this represents a danger to himself as well as to the other participants.
IRREGULARITIES
For anything not provided for, the IIHL regulation applies.
In the event of infringements, the race director has the right to issue minor or major penalties.
Minor penalties can be transformed in case of extreme reiteration into major penalties.
MAJOR PENALTY
